True Colours is a local, family-owned disability provider built around one simple idea: people deserve to be understood as individuals.

Our Story

Why True Colours was created

True Colours was created with a strong belief that people should be treated as individuals, not just matched to a service category or roster.

 

Years spent working across frontline and Case Manager-level roles showed us how much difference the right people, the right approach and genuine consistency can make.

 

That experience became the foundation for True Colours and continues to influence how we work with Participants, families and other professionals today.

What we bring with us

Our professional background includes Disability Support Services, Residential Youth Support, Child Protection, Training and Assessment, counselling, case management and frontline disability work.

Qualifications and professional development include a Diploma of Community Services, Diploma of Business Management, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma of Counselling in Drug and Alcohol, Sanctuary Model training, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Hope and Healing, Psychological First Aid, NDIS Incident Management and restrictive practice training.

That knowledge gives True Colours a broad understanding of both people and the systems around them.

Business Development and Lead Support Coordination Manager

With extensive experience in the Community sector, I have held various positions, including, Support Coordination, Team Leader in the Child Safety area, roles in the Early Childhood sector. My diverse background has equipped me with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and needs within these areas. I bring with me a wealth of knowledge and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of those I support.

 
My role at True Colours is to ensure that we develop and grow in line with our participants’ needs. It is my mission to make sure that this happens effectively and compassionately. I am proud to be part of an amazing team at True Colours, dedicated to providing exceptional support and care.

Director of Care Coordination

I bring with me a wealth of experience from my previous role as a Teacher in Special Education, where I dedicated myself to supporting the unique needs of young people.

With experience in leadership roles within the Disability and Child Protection sectors, I bring a comprehensive skill set and a deep commitment to our mission.

 

Throughout my career, I have achieved an elevated level of professional development in the community sector, continually striving to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the services we provide. My leadership is guided by the core values of integrity, empowerment, and diversity, which are fundamental to our work at True Colours.

 

My drive is to practice these values daily and to help develop True Colours as a professional and compassionate service provider. I am dedicated to ensuring that our organisation grows and evolves to meet the needs of our participants, fostering an environment of support and empowerment.
