True Colours is a local, family-owned disability provider built around one simple idea: people deserve to be understood as individuals.
True Colours was created with a strong belief that people should be treated as individuals, not just matched to a service category or roster.
Years spent working across frontline and Case Manager-level roles showed us how much difference the right people, the right approach and genuine consistency can make.
That experience became the foundation for True Colours and continues to influence how we work with Participants, families and other professionals today.
We focus on what is useful and meaningful to you, so your time and funding are directed towards the things you actually want to work on.
Your goals guide the way we work, whether they involve greater independence, daily living skills, community participation or changes in your circumstances.
Needs, routines and priorities can change over time. We adjust with you rather than expecting everything to stay the same.
We consider personality, routines, preferences and individual needs when matching participants with staff.

True Colours combines practical frontline knowledge with broader experience in case management, risk, behavioural needs and complex situations. That means we understand both the everyday side of working alongside participants and the responsibility that sits behind good decision-making.
We know what day-to-day disability work actually involves because we have done it ourselves.
Our background includes coordinating complex situations, managing risk and working across different systems and services.
Training across crisis intervention, psychological first aid and restrictive practice has shaped a measured approach to challenging situations.
We take time to understand who a Participant is before deciding who may be the right person to work with them.
Our professional background includes Disability Support Services, Residential Youth Support, Child Protection, Training and Assessment, counselling, case management and frontline disability work.
Qualifications and professional development include a Diploma of Community Services, Diploma of Business Management, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Diploma of Counselling in Drug and Alcohol, Sanctuary Model training, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, Hope and Healing, Psychological First Aid, NDIS Incident Management and restrictive practice training.
That knowledge gives True Colours a broad understanding of both people and the systems around them.
The way we work is shaped by a few principles that influence how we communicate, make decisions and build relationships with participants, families and other professionals.
They help keep our approach consistent, respectful and focused on the individual.
